The time is near for JEE Mains 2018, and it’s time to focus and make your hard work pay off. But where to start and what is the best way to study each subject? Teachers guide students on 10 infallible strategies to address physics.

**Make Summaries:**

Try to summarise the main concepts involved in physics: scalar and vector kinematics, dynamics (Newton’s laws and conservation laws), heat (temperature and heat exchanges), waves, geometric optics and optical and electrostatic instruments, electricity and magnetism.**Highlight Expressions:**

For each summary, highlight the corresponding mathematical expression if any and identify the physical quantity involved with its respective unit.**List down the concepts**

Try to relate the concepts involved in such a way that it is possible to construct a conceptual map.**Solve problems**

Still, on problem-solving, try to highlight the greatness already present in the problem with their respective units of measurement. When solving the question, analyse the answer, that is, see if the magnitude value obtained is consistent with the problem information.**Vary on difficulty**

Different degrees of difficulty, that is, easy (when they only require the direct application of a concept and/or formula); (When they require an ability to interpret the statement in conjunction with the application of the concept and/or formula) and difficult (when they require the understanding of the context presented in the statement and the application of more than one area of physics to solve the problem) .**Avoid the calculator**Avoid using the calculator to solve problems while you study. It is important that you gain agility in the calculation and realize the possibilities of simplification of response.

**Practice different solutions**

Decorating the formulas helps, but it is not enough to solve a physics exercise. Therefore, it is important that you practice different types of questions that require different strategies for solving and articulating concepts because you will find this type of question in the main exams in the country.**Study Modern Physics**

Try to study Modern Physics (Relativity), because, despite being content with little (or no) approach in School, it is a topic that is always present in the exams. In general, the approach is more theoretical or with a direct application of the Einstein equation that relates energy and mass (E = mc²) or the photoelectric effect.**Compare versions**

Compare your problem resolution with the official version or with the teacher’s version. Notice how you can refine the solution to the next issues.**Do solve exercises**

Study problems already solved, observing the resolution structure and, in the case of online classes, the teacher’s comments.
